The Porte du Soleil region has over 350 kms of off road trails for mountainbiking. There is plenty to do for both the downhill and cross-country entusiast. During the summer season (late June through to Early September) many of the ski lifts run in order for you to avoid some of the nasty uphill slogs.

In September 2004, the neighbouring resort of Les Gets (10 mins ride from Morzine) hosted the 2004 mountainbike world-cup. The world cup downhill route can now be ridden by the brave (and stupid).

There are plenty of shops that will hire you a bike, sell you spares and give you advice on the best places to ride.
