For winter holidays, The "Portes du Soleil" or "Gateway to the Sun" is the largest skiing area in the world,with 650 km of pistes, 204 lifts with the highest being 2466 metres,and 279 pistes criss-crossing France and Switzerland. The chalet is well placed as the ski bus stops at the end of the drive and we are only five minutes from the Ardent lift by car or bus, offering easy access to Chatel, Avoriaz and Switzerland. The variety of skiing is endless, from "Le Grand Paradis," a scenic and wildlife trip, to the Portes du Soleil Tour which takes in as many of the French and Swiss resorts as possible; a full day out encompassing great skiing and fantastic views! You can have lunch at the top of Rosta, with views towards Mont Blanc.
